I was born on 31 March 1958 - so that makes me an Aries. I was born and grew up in Fargo, North Dakota. I have six siblings: two brothers and four sisters (shown below) and I'm the youngest. My parents (both deceased) were loving and caring and my siblings and I grew up to be loving and caring too. I'm single (divorced), have no children, and live alone (with one Zebra finch and one Society finch in a really big flight cage).
From 1991 to 2018, I worked as a Biological Science Technician at the USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Northwest Irrigation and Soils Research Laboratory in Kimberly, Idaho. Before that, from 1987 to 1991, I worked as a Science Technician at the Citrus and Subtropical Products Research Laboratory, an ARS research lab that was in Winter Haven, Florida. But I'm now retired after 31 years.
I'm not a professional photographer, but since I have been an amateur photographer since 1978 (that's over 40 years!), I consider myself an experienced photographer. I do all my own photography, digital image editing, and web page design. For the images on this site, I used a Fuji FinePix Z3 camera to shoot the images, Corel PHOTO-PAINT to edit them, CuteHTML to write the code for these web pages, and BreezeBrowserPro [www.breezesys.com] to create the slide shows in the image gallery.
